I recently did this portrait of the awesome Ilse and her unfortunately passed away little companion Gijs. It was one of my favorite commissions I did as of late, it felt so good helping to commemorate the love between these two cuties. Thank you Ilse ♥

Congenital Anomalies Illustrated

These amazing books and illustrations were also featured in this amazing exhibition at the Natural History Museum in Rotterdam. Ahhh every single image was so breathtaking, makes me want to pursue the whole Scientific Illustration thing all over again (one day!) (I hope).

Let's Swim To The Moon pop-up shop

Mirjam, Jaap and I visited the Let's Swim To The Moon pop-up shop opening in Utrecht's oudegracht this monday, and it was absolutely wonderful! Everything was beautifully decorated with lights and vintage materials and they did such a great job displaying my stuff. I feel so very blessed I got to join! So again, all you dutchies should totally visit (while you still can! It ends this saturday!)! It's a great place to buy beautiful handmade and vintage christmas presents by cool talented young people who will all greatly appreciate your support :) you can see all participants here or the facebook event for more information here.

Let's swim to that moon!

Mirjam and I have been working our sweet butts off cutting and packaging lots of new Pony People merch the past few weeks (pendants and brooches and stickers and address labels and postcards and and) because we will be attending the Let's Swim To The Moon pop-up shop next week! It's being held from the 16th until the 21st of December on the oudegracht in Utrecht and should be loads of fun! LATE AGAIN! But it's time for another montly recap post!
In October I - Added new stickers and brooches and necklaces to my shop. Watched lots of crappy movies on Netflix. Felt so very blessed to have such wonderfully amazing people surrounding me. Finished illustrations I had been working on for forever. Did some commissions. Spent lots of time with my bf and bff (slumberpartiesss!). Made a cat quiche. Found a lot of cool mushrooms. Saw the awesome Feathers exhibition in Gallery 33. Celebrated Halloween in the most perfectly boring way. Basically had a lot of fun :)

Movies - So like I said, I watched lots of crappy movies on Netflix this month; Clueless, Never Been Kissed, Teeth, Revenge of the Bridesmaids, The Last Exorcism, The Midnight Meat Train... I wouldn't recommend any of these haha.
Books - Loooooved Cowa! by Akira Toriyama, enjoyed Ice Haven by Daniel Clowes and still haven't finished 11/22/63 by Stephen King (but it's great so far).
Music - I have been listening to WOLF by Tyler, The Creator non stop this month (but have to say I'm kinda sick of it already haha).
TV Shows - Speaking of Netflix; ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK! God that show is perfect! Also (re)watched a lot of Misfits, but boyyy are those last few seasons awful.

Finally! Something totally new listed in my little shoppe!
I made a bunch of my hard plastic kitties into necklaces and brooches!! Brooches measure approximately 2 x 1,75 inches (or 4,5 x 4 cm) and necklaces 2,5 x 2 inches (or 6 x 5,5 cm) with a 27,5 inch (70 cm) dark grey cord. Both are finished with a matte gloss and are made with care :)
