September

I'm just gonna come out and say it; I miss my CYB-posts. I don't miss the pressure of having to update every week though, and I was kinda sick of making film-posts as well, so instead I'm gonna make monthly recap posts! Bringing the two together in a way! But ehm, I've been busy and it's already the 11th of october so I'm probably a bit late making a post about September, but I'm just gonna do it anyway (I'm an adult! I can do whatever I want!)!

September started off great with a looovely week of Vlie with the bestest bff on the planet (which you can read about here and here and here and here and here). I had my hair cut off rulll short which feels greattt. Worked on commissions and new stuff for my little shoppe. Spent loads of time with my beautiful funny talented bf. Had a crazy cold with lots of mucus leaking from my face. Enjoyed the changing of the seasons a lottt though (blankets! Walks through the woods! Mushrooms! Warm coats! SWEATERS! Tights and knee-highs! Tea! CINNAMON!!!). Thrifted. Worked at the shelter. It was nice.

Movies - I absolutely refused to watch the Evil Dead remake because I love the original(s) so much but people kept telling me I should anyway, so I finally gave in, and, eh... eh bleh. It was okay in it's genre I guess but I absolutely HÁTE what they did to the (classic) story and it lacked the crappy humour of the original. I probably just shouldn't compare the two but I can't help it WHYYY COULDN'T THEY JUST MAKE IT A COMPLETE SEPERATE MOVIEEEEE :'( ugh. That's all I have to say about this month's movies haha.
Books - I really loved Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns) by Mindy Kaling, it's hilarious. I'm also reading 11/22/63 by Stephen King (which so far is awesome - as anything by SK is) and Sailor Moon 7 but I haven't finished those yet.
TV Shows - Nothing really worth mentioning I guess. I finished the last sucky season of Dexter. Which I will not say anything about apart from that I was not amused. Other than that, we (re)watched lots of Flight Of The Conchords and Gilmore Girls and Bob's Burgers and that was fun. Oh and I watched some seasons of Roseanne while working (aaaw the ending made me cry so hard!).

the end*~

Anne
