Let's Swim To The Moon pop-up shop

Mirjam, Jaap and I visited the Let's Swim To The Moon pop-up shop opening in Utrecht's oudegracht this monday, and it was absolutely wonderful! Everything was beautifully decorated with lights and vintage materials and they did such a great job displaying my stuff. I feel so very blessed I got to join! So again, all you dutchies should totally visit (while you still can! It ends this saturday!)! It's a great place to buy beautiful handmade and vintage christmas presents by cool talented young people who will all greatly appreciate your support :) you can see all participants here or the facebook event for more information here.

Let's swim to that moon!

Mirjam and I have been working our sweet butts off cutting and packaging lots of new Pony People merch the past few weeks (pendants and brooches and stickers and address labels and postcards and and) because we will be attending the Let's Swim To The Moon pop-up shop next week! It's being held from the 16th until the 21st of December on the oudegracht in Utrecht and should be loads of fun! So check it out if you're in the neighborhood :) (all leftovers will be listed in my etsy shop ofcourse!) Oh and they also posted a short interview with me on their blog today! Fun stuff guys. Fun stuff.

B-B-Bike

My cute as hell little niece Feline turned 10 last month (GOD I'M SLOW THESE DAYS) and my sister bought her a bike for her birthday, which I got to customize! It must have been one of my favorite projects so far, since Feline and I like the same things (cats!) and painting on anything other than paper is so.much.fun. ♥

Must Love Cats

As you probably know by now; I do volunteer work at the local animal shelter. Every sunday I get up early to clean litter boxes and feed and pet the lovely less fortunate kitties. It's so much fun, I really recommend it to anyone and I'm even thinking of adding another shift to my weekly schedule, thát's how much fun it is! It gets hard sometimes though, being a cat lover amongst all of those sweet sad kitties, mostly because I want to take all of them home. I can't though, not with weirdo Brian. So I decided I would just draw my favorite shelter kitties to commemorate them. Here's the first six; Doppie, Noppes, Poeke, Siempie, Milla and Bram.
I'm glad to say Noppes and Siempie both have happy new homes but the other ones have been in the shelter for months and months. Bram is my favorite of the bunch, Bram and I fell in love instantly. He's such a silly goose ♥ (maybe a bit too silly though, I'm pretty sure he and Brian would take each other down if I'd take him home, which is the only reason he's still in the shelter).
Anyway, I did these little illustrations and I made them into buttons and stickers, available here. I will make a 50% of the profit donation to my shelter every 20 or so sales! Now that's a win-win situation if I ever saw one!

The buttons are 1 inch/25 mm, available on white or pastel rainbow and the stickers are about 5 inch/12 cm and printed on glossy sticker paper. No paypal or another reason you can't purchase through etsy? You could always send me an email at anne@ponypeople.nl!
