Leaky Cauldron

Jaap and I have been putting my pretty little bike (and his ugly old one, whehe) to good use! We have been exploring a part of the woods near our house, which apparently was one of the special places I used to visit as a child. And now it's just a short bike ride from our house, crazy! We had the best day taking loads of dubious pictures I wish I could share and finished with the best apple cinnamon pancake of my life... jup, it was just one of those really really really good days.

Fungus

Yay! Autumn! It's here and I'm loving every second of it! Knitwear, blankets, candles, pumpkins, and most importantly, MUSHROOMS! Obviously my favorite thing about fall, since I usually spend these months on my knees photographing those little boogers, and this year will be no exception. I found all of the mushrooms pictured above at the Amersfoort Zoo's Dino Woods which Jaap and I visited a few weeks back. There were ZERO dinosaur pictures taken. Just sayin'.

Also; Happy Halloween everyone! Jaap and I are about to get ready for the laziest Halloween celebration ever, just us and our besties on the sofa watching The Craft and snackin' on homegrown pumpkin soup. Hope you'll have as spooky a time as I'm sure we'll have! Hehe.

Shrooms and Starfish

Such a lovely day with my family at the woods and shore of Kamperduin. Such a cool place to be, we walked from the woods over the dunes right to the sea. I was in great company, the weather was amazing and we found the most amazing treasures. A day like this was just what I needed!
