Count Your Blessings #47

What made me feel blessed this week:
Twin Peaks, Emma, working on fun stuff, three new chicken lady friends, my initials in my drink, spending a fortune on art supplies, Muppet Monster Adventure, lovely spring weather, my bff, pretty colors.

Oh boy, I can't believe this week is already over! Time fliiess when you're on a roll! I can't wait to show you guys the fun stuff I have been working on! Anyway, it was good week but I was too busy to blog or take pictures or whatever. I'll be back though ♥

New Kitty on the Block

Those of you who follow me on instagram etc already know, buttt... I fell in the love with one of the kitties at the shelter I work at! She has kind of a deformed face and would therefore be hard to place in a new home (people tend to prefer kitties with hairy smooth chins) soooo I decided to adopt her! Meet my new catfriend, Emma (fka Bemmel)! We picked her up from the shelter about two weeks ago and she is doing really great, it's like she's always been here. Brian is his usual lullo self though so he keeps picking fights with her (mostly because she likes to cuddle up with me in my bed and that's his territory) but the other cats couldn't care less. Which was pretty unexpected, considering she's pretty old and silly, but I guess they just don't feel threatened by her at all haha. She really is the sweetest thing, she sleeps on top of my bookcase all day and drools when she's hungy, she loves to run around outside and chase the chickens, she makes the silliest noises when she eats and oh boy am I smitten with that little bald chin. It's not really clear what caused the latter though, it probably has something to do with her allergies and lots of piled up scar tissue, but it doesn't bother her so it doesn't bother me! :) I'm just really happy to have her and I can't wait to really get to know her. And most of all I hope she'll live a long and happy rest of her life here ♥ ♥ ♥

What made me feel blessed this week:
Working on a super fun big commission and learning lots, Artis Zoo (again), my new glittery white tiger tshirt, sleepoverslumberparty with Feline, Emma, the glorious return of Hyperbole and a Half, playing Cluedo, sleep and coffee.

P.S. I'm really sorry for the lack of posts! I do have a lot of stuff waiting for me to share but I have absolutely no time to spare whatsoever! I'm working on lots of fun stuff though, so don't feel sorry for me ;)

Count Your Blessings #45

What made me feel blessed this week:
Adopting a new kitty! Our new addition is named Emma and she is doing better than I could have ever imagined! I will make a seperate post to introduce her and explain her silly face later (aaah sooo bussyyyy) :), queen's day with the bestest best friend a girl could ever have, a great loot, starting a new book (Hearts in Atlantis and aahh it's so greattt), working on another DAC table, sleeep, cooffeeeee, fun commissions, planting new plants, seasons and seasons of Futurama, and lots of pretty flowers growing everywhere.
