Visited my best friend's new apartment the other day. It's a beautiful place filled with cute little knick knacks, and THAT PLANT. Mim is the best and gave me a cutting so I can grow my own ♥ (wish I knew what this guy is called, do any of you know?)

Some more snaps from that time Mirjam and I visited the lovely Boerhaave Museum for the anatomical models exhibition. All of the above are from their permanent collection though, which is also really really good. Would absolutely recommend if you're into old books and taxidermy!

GP - Just a fine and fancy ramble to the zoo

A while ago I went with my family-in-law to Blijdorp Zoo in Rotterdam. It was a really rainy but fun day. I actually love to go to the zoo when it's bad weather, because it's usually pretty quite then. When I normally go to the zoo I run around a lot to look at all the different animals, but this day I decided to take a bit of time and observe some animals' behavior a bit better. I took some pictures as well, and thought I'd share! There was a special sort of laboratory dedicated to education too, which was quite nice. The first picture you see is a shark's egg - but they scraped of the outer layer of the egg so you could actually see the baby-shark move. Awesome!

Let's swim to that moon!

Mirjam and I have been working our sweet butts off cutting and packaging lots of new Pony People merch the past few weeks (pendants and brooches and stickers and address labels and postcards and and) because we will be attending the Let's Swim To The Moon pop-up shop next week! It's being held from the 16th until the 21st of December on the oudegracht in Utrecht and should be loads of fun! So check it out if you're in the neighborhood :) (all leftovers will be listed in my etsy shop ofcourse!) Oh and they also posted a short interview with me on their blog today! Fun stuff guys. Fun stuff.

Vlie pt. five

This is when the Into The Great Wide Open festival finally started! It was fun, ofcourse, but not as much fun as the previous years. I'm not sure if the crowd really had changed into annoying binge drinking party people or if we just weren't feeling it ourselves but, yea. I guess this was our last year. Still there were lots of high lights, like; the Dutch Weed Burger, the ghartjes museum, lovely people, the cute art and tshirt stand, Earth Mk. II, the record store, Harry Merry (both the documentary about him ánd his performance), the best mojitos ever, Keaton Henson in a lovely little church, KEATON HENSON, amazing freshly roasted coffee, de kolderkrant, and lots more (am I missing something Mimi?!)! So yea, Mirjam and I had a great greaaattt vacation together and I miss her and the fun we had a LOT. Hopefully we'll do something similar next year but without the festival stuff ♥!
