Visited my best friend's new apartment the other day. It's a beautiful place filled with cute little knick knacks, and THAT PLANT. Mim is the best and gave me a cutting so I can grow my own ♥ (wish I knew what this guy is called, do any of you know?)

Another wonderful thing about Haarlem; Teylers Museum!!! It's the oldest museum in the Netherlands and it has an amaaaazing permanent collection ranging from classical art to scientific instruments to fossils to minerals and gemstones and so much more. This enormous mineralogical collection housed in the famous Oval Room ranks high on my list of favorite places of all time, no doubt ♥

Some more snaps from that time Mirjam and I visited the lovely Boerhaave Museum for the anatomical models exhibition. All of the above are from their permanent collection though, which is also really really good. Would absolutely recommend if you're into old books and taxidermy!

Sores and Boils Alley

Mim and I visited this amaaaazing exhibition of bizarre anatomical models in the Boerhaave museum in Leiden a while back. They had models from so many different time periods showing basic anatomy, all kinds of diseases, birth anomalies, freaky first aid training models and so much more. It was pretty darn perfect. I wish I could tell you guys to go visit but I'm a slow sloth and I'm posting these pictures months and months after our visit but ehm, I took a lot of pictures? So forgive me?

I'd also like to mention how thankful I am to have a best friend who enjoys these things as much as I do.
