My brother has loved He-Man and the Masters of the Universe for as long as I can remember. When we were little he had loads of action figures and a flippin' Castle Grayskull and what ever He-Man related junk he could get. (He still has a lot of those action figures displayed on his desk.) And as I see it as my personal job in life to give people childish junk, I made him a He-Man tie for his 33rd (!!!!!) birthday!
I bought this old man's tie at the thriftstore and it was a total pain in the ass. The fabric sucked all of the paint in so I had to paint the silhouette in white in like 5 coats before I could actually start painting the He-Man dude on it.
Even after all those layers of white I still had to paint the colours about 4 times over. I am never painting on a fabric like this ever again :')
