February Films

Anna Karenina (2012): Eventhough costume dramas are not even near my alley and well, stories like these make me want to gag and poke my eyes out. But. This was SO beautifully excecuted!!! That cinematography aaahh just so pretty! Totally made up for the rest. ♥ ♥ ♥

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012): Again! Still great! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977): This is my least favorite of these three but still pretty damn awesome! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

The Evil Dead (1981): I felt like it was time to watch these again. This is my favorite horror movie of all time, there's just no other movie like it and still makes me feel all fuzzy inside. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Evil Dead 2: Dead By Dawn (1987): Well, this is sortof a remake of the first one but with a better budget. I pretty much always watch them all three in a row so they have become one really long movie in my head, and this is just the inbetween one. Lovely, not my favorite. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Army of Darkness (1992): This is probably the funniest (grooviest) movie ever made and it still kills me every time I watch it :') perfect. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980): Daaahhh that scene with Luke carrying Yoda is probably my favorite movie scene OF ALL TIME. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

The Great Mouse Detective (1986): With Vincent Price as the Professor Ratigan!!! I have seen this SO many times but only just recognized his voice. Makes me love this even more than I already did. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

The Little Mermaid (1989): I have to admit I didn't really watch this, it just played in the background while I was ironing and I sang along like my life depended on it. Good times. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Dinner for Schmucks (2010): Sort of a guilty pleasure, I can't help but to find it hilarious. Jemaine, Paul Rudd, stuffed mice. Yup. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Moonrise Kingdom (2012): Lovely sweet and cute and an amazing sountrack and and and and. You've probably seen it (and if you haven't; you should). ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Gentlemen Broncos (2009): Such a deliciously dumb movie with a few of my favorite actors and just well, hilarious. Sorry. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

You don't have to watch these: Pitch Perfect because I just COULD NOT STAND THE SINGING and Horrors of Spider Island because the sexism made me really sad and ew.

  1. Gah, I've always loved The Great Mouse Detective. It's always been one of my favourites that not many have seen or really care about. I have been saying for the past few weeks that I really want to re-watch it. Also army of darkness is awesome!
And I actually really liked pitch perfect, even though I was expecting run out on it.

    1. I knooow! The Great Mouse Detective is totally underrated! And I guess I would've liked Pitch Perfect too if it wasn't for all the singing :D
