Hedgehog and Shrew

This hedgehog was found by my friend Mirjam, who scraped it off the road and put it in her tiny freezer for me ♥ I could not help but giggle the whole trainride home, carrying a frozen hedgehog in my bag. The shrew was brought to me by my mom, who found him drowned in the drinking bowl of the goat next door. I had so much fun studying the both of them, but especially the hedgehog. His intestines were hanging out (I didn't include a picture because some of you may be freaked out by this, but you can click here for a full picture, it's not that gross at all) and it was such an amazing sight. I wrapped the both of them in some tulle and burried them next to our greenhouse, covering the little grave with sticks. I can't wait to dig them up to find some pretty bones like I did with the mole a while back.
